TIME TO REFLECT Sunday, January 17, 2010

The best thing to do on a New Years Day is to take time to reflect. Stand in front of the full-length mirror of memory and view your life. Today I decided to stay indoors. Thoughtfully, Silently, Alone, and At length in His presence just to trace the outline of the past without interruption of routine tasks. I was really lost in wonder, love, in a solitary worship and praise. An extended, unhurried leisure yielding rich benefits and deep insights of feeling grateful to God. Specifically thanking Him for something or someone that He brought my way that makes my today much more meaningful. Instantly, I realized I have So much to give thanks for. Thank you, Lord, that I have so much in life to thank you as I said in a loud voice. Tears run down my cheeks as I wept over failures in life, struggles, and pain but in the end I was smiling as I said, God You are faithful. I’m a thankful person now. So grateful I had taken time to reflect the past.
